The Meadville girls volleyball team kept a goose egg in the loss column thanks to a 25-13, 25-13, 25-21 win over Region 4 rival Titusville on Tuesday.

The win marked the return of Mia Soerensen for the Bulldogs (3-0, 3-0 Region 4), and she made the rockets pay with nine kills and 10 digs. Jillian Decker posted 10 aces and 24 assists, while Ella Stewart chipped in with four kills and three aces. Alexis Holt added eight digs in the win.

 

Panthers sweep Ike

SAEGERTOWN — Saegertown improve to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in Region 3 play with a dominant 25-7, 25-18, 25-14 win over Eisenhower on

Tuesday.

Ava Jones dished out 16 assists and had six aces to pace the Panthers on the night. Mollie Przybrowski had five kills and seven digs, while Dixie Kindervater added six kills. Amber Costello chipped in with 10 digs in the win.

 

Cardinals roll past Orioles

COCHRANTON — Cochranton set the tone with a rout in the first set and went on from there to pick up a 25-5, 25-15, 25-16 win over Rocky Grove during Region 3 girls volleyball action on Tuesday.

Devyn Sokol led the Cardinals (2-2, 2-1 Region 3) with nine kills and five aces. Dana Jackson tallied 24 assists, while Taytum Jackson added seven digs. Lexie Moore and Megan Heim each had six kills in the win.

 

Spa topples Youngsville

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS — Despite a hiccup in set three, Cambridge Springs picked up a 25-12, 25-22, 25-27, 25-23 win over Youngsville during Region 3 girls volleyball action on Tuesday.

Taylor Smith finished with 11 kills and 12 digs to pace the Blue Devils. Paige Verbanac tallied 18 digs and 11 service points, while Abbie Schultz added 13 points and 15 assists. Jordyn Wheeler contributed 11 kills, Madelynn Dragosavac 18 digs and Emily Boylan nine digs.

 

Muskies power past Mustangs

JAMESTOWN — Jamestown picked up a big 25-9, 25-19, 25-18 win over mercer during Region 1 girls volleyball action on Tuesday at the Tank.

Delaney Coger tallied 16 assists for the Muskies (2-1, 2-1 Region 1). Liz Kammerdiener had six kills and two blocks, while Sara Stevenson added five kills and two blocks. Leni Keener and contributed eight digs and five kills, respectively.

 

Hornets sting Sailors

HERMITAGE — Lakeview fell to Hickory in four sets on Tuesday in Region 2 girls volleyball action. Set scores were: 22-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-20.

Haven Patton led the Sailors (2-1, 1-1 Region 2) with eight kills. Lydia Heckman and Leah Hochstetler had five kills each. Elsa Cole had 27 digs and Reese Gadsby had 26 digs and 13 assists.
