With the win, Lakeland advances to the winner’s bracket final and is awarded a day off. The locals return to action against South Williamsport in that winner’s bracket tilt on Friday at 7:30 p.m. The winner will advance to the state championship game.
It was a seven-run opening inning that sparked Lakeland to another win.
