The French Creek Valley Railroad Historical Society has closed the railroad display site for open tours until next spring. We thank all who stopped and visited, bought merchandise and made donations to help support our efforts in preserving railroad history. We also thank all the members who gave the few hours on the weekend to be tour guides for the visitors.

The caboose and railroad display can still be visited by appointment. To schedule a visit, contact the secretary at or call 853-3763.

We encourage donations to help us renovate the Meadville Railroad Depot (, the railroad equipment in Pomona Park and maintain our collection of files and artifacts.

Should there be an Erie train show this year, we will likely have a couple of tables of our merchandise. The show is in question, as the promoter passed away this summer.

Merchandise can still be purchased either online or by a phone call to the secretary (listed above). We only take cash unless the purchase is made through our website at Our line of merchandise includes T-shirts, polo shirts, crew neck sweatshirts, hats, a book on the Atlantic & Great Western Railroad (co-written by Pete Gifford of Meadville), an Erie Railroad book of images by Stu Ladner, an Erie Railroad textbook on compact disc, some older calendars, railroad bags and magazines.

We will have a 2020 calendar out in the fall. Also, memberships are always available on our website. Click the membership tab and download the application to mail it in or make your payment on the website through Paypal. Individual annual memberships are $20, family memberships (limited to two adults and two children under 18) are $35 and student memberships (children under 18) are $5 each.

Thank you for your support.
