The Meadville Area Free Clinic opened in 1997 to serve area residents who did not have access to health insurance. For the past 23 years the clinic has provided primary care services to adults who do not have health insurance, veteran’s benefits or medical assistance.

Much community support occurs to permit this clinic to continue the mission of providing free medical care to those who qualify. This clinic is partially supported by the United Way, for which we are very grateful.

For the past 12 years, Mill Run Community Pharmacy located at 404 North St. in Meadville has worked collaboratively with the clinic and our patients to provide the absolute best possible pricing for medications. We thank the staff of this independent, locally owned community pharmacy for their huge contribution to our patients and clinic.

The patients of the clinic are also appreciative of the close proximity of the pharmacy to the location of the Free Clinic since the move to the Professional Building at 505 Poplar St., Suite 206.

The patients and staff of the Meadville Area Free Clinic thank the community and Mill Run Community Pharmacy for the support in providing quality health care. The collaboration and support of local businesses such as Mill Run is what helps to make this community unique and a healthier place to live.
