A response to Mike Kelly:
I would very much appreciate you citing instances of Gov. Tom Wolf politicizing this pandemic. I have plowed through all of his statements and the only thing I have found is concern for the health and safety of Pennsylvanians. Being a representative in Congress means you are expected to lead and guide your constituents to a brighter future, not pander to fear and discord. I agree that Crawford County does not get the travel that other counties see and the regulations felt heavy given our low case count, but the place to have that discussion is not on the lawn, it's in the secretary of health's office. Have you done that? No? I didn't think so.
Everyone should just think for a minute, does any governor have access to world health information other than what we see in the media? Does any governor have the authority to shutter international travel? Do they have global purchasing power for the equipment necessary, no none do, it's not how any country in the world works? The federal level is where the power lies, it's where national action originates and in this case it is where too little was done too late despite major red flags from other world leaders and our health experts.
Frankly, I am ashamed to be represented by such a small man, especially one who hasn't had the courage to have a town hall meeting since who can even remember.
