It seems everything I read regarding the 2020 election is framed with the works “baseless claims.” My understanding of the word “baseless” implies it can only be used when something has been investigated and proven “baseless."

This could be true concerning the claims of Russian interference in the 2016 election. After an exhaustive investigation it was proven “baseless.” No such investigation has been conducted into the claims of irregularities and legality of aspects of the 2020 election. Yet we are being told to “move on” by those same individuals who clamored for possible Russian interference to be investigated.

If the term “baseless” can be correctly applied, then an investigation must be conducted proving the claims “baseless." The integrity of our voting rights depends on it.
