GREENVILLE — A COVID-19 vaccine clinic will take place Tuesday at the Passavant Center at Thiel College, Walberg Family Pharmacies announced Monday.
The clinic is open to residents of Crawford, Mercer, Lawrence and Butler counties who qualify under Pennsylvania's Phase 1A COVID-19 vaccination guidelines.
Phase 1A in Pennsylvania consists of those most at-risk for illness, according to the Department of Health, including health care workers; those living in long-term care facilities; persons age 65 and older; and those age 16-64 with high-risk conditions.
Pre-registration, which is required for a vaccine appointment, must be done online at walbergfamilypharmacies.com.
The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered at the clinic. A previous clinic for administration of the second dose of the Moderna vaccine was canceled and will not be offered Tuesday, according to Walberg. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are not interchangeable.
The Passavant Center is located at 38 Packard Avenue, Greenville.
