Pennsylvania State Police are investigating two overnight traffic fatalities, one in Crawford and one in Erie County.

A 65-year-old man was killed after being struck by a vehicle while walking on Enterprise Road in Oil Creek Township early this morning, according to Crawford County Coroner Scott Schell.

The accident is being investigated by Pennsylvania State Police, Corry barracks. The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

 A head-on crash claimed the life of a Girard man at 9:42 p.m. on West Ridge Road, Fairview Township.

Jake A. Nesbitt, 28, of Girard, was traveling west on Route 20 when his car crossed into the east bound lanes and left the roadway on the south side. His vehicle traveled through the yards of two residences and struck a tree head-on. 

Nesbitt was mechanically extricated from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by Erie County Chief Deputy Coroner Korac J. Timon.
