EAST MEAD TOWNSHIP — A rectory affiliated with St. Hippolyte's Roman Catholic Church was burglarized on Feb. 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police at Meadville.
The rectory, located on the 20000 block of State Highway 27, was reportedly broken into sometime between 10 a.m. and noon on Feb. 14. A total of $740 worth of items were stolen from the building.
The stolen items consisted of an unknown number of silver coins valued at $400, a ziplock bag containing prescription drugs valued at $100, a silver wrist watch valued at $20, an unknown number of rings valued at $200 and shirt pins valued at $20.
Anyone with information pertaining to the burglary is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at Meadville.
