Crawford County Maintenance Manager Aaron Fox announced the following county maintenance schedule for the week of Sept. 9 for roadways maintained by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
A bridge is being replaced on Route 198 in Summerhill Township.
Crack sealing will be done on Route 322 in Shenango and West Fallowfield townships.
Ditching will be done on Park Avenue Extension in Vernon Township, Park Avenue Extension and Route 198 in Hayfield Township, Route 6 in Conneaut Township, Route 618 in Sadsbury Township and Route 86 in Woodcock Township.
Shoulder back-up will be done on Mount Pleasant Road in Bloomfield Township.
Shoulder cutting will be done on Route 6 in Cambridge Township, Brown Hill Road in Venango Township and Miller Hill Road in Rockdale Township.
Spray patching will be done on Route 98 in Cussewago Township, Gravel Run Road in Richmond Township, North Street in Meadville, Park Avenue Extension in Meadville and West Mead Township and Rogers Ferry Road in Vernon and Hayfield townships.
Pipes will be replaced on Conneautville Road and Center Road in Summerhill Township.
Boom mowing will be done on Gravel Run Road and Plank Road in Venango Township and Gospel Hill and Fry roads in Cussewago Township.
All work is weather dependent.
Fill dirt left over from PennDOT maintenance operations is available to property owners who request the material, have accessible property near work areas and submit a completed M-666 form.
PennDOT urges motorists to slow down when driving in work zones, be alert to changing conditions, avoid distractions and pay attention to signs and flaggers.
