Approximately 160 soldiers from the U.S. Army Reserve 99th Regional Readiness Command’s 298th Transportation Co. in Franklin are returning home Sunday.
A welcome-home ceremony for the unit is scheduled at 9 a.m. at the U.S. Army Reserve Center, 1545 Airport Road, Franklin.
At least four Crawford County residents are expected to be among those returning home.
The 298th Transportation Co. has been in Iraq since 2006. It transported fuel and other supplies by convoy to units in the field.
