RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP — Three people were sent to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night on Guys Mills Road.
The crash occurred as a vehicle driven by Peter Andrew Zimmer, 28, was traveling east on Guys Mills Road east of Carpenter Road around 7:35 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and entered the oncoming lane, according to Pennsylvania State Police in Meadville. Upon crossing the other lane, his vehicle struck head on the vehicle operated by Marvin Jay Miller, 49.
Zimmer, Miller and Miller’s passenger, Katherine M. Miller, 50, were all transported to Meadville Medical Center.
All three were being treated as of 11:30 p.m. and their conditions are undetermined at this time, according to a Meadville Medical Center nursing supervisor.
All three were wearing a seat belt.
An emergency medical helicopter was requested to possibly transport at least one patient, but it was deemed unsafe to fly, according to emergency radio transmissions.
