The Cochranton Junior-Senior High School Marching Band had the top score in the Meadville Fall Classic on Saturday.

Cochranton won the Class AAA competition with a final score of 87.50. The band also earned awards for music, visual and general effect. Harbor Creek (85.05) placed second, followed by Fairview (84.85).

In Open Class, McDowell took first-place honors with a final score of 86.33, edging Iroquois (86.23). The Trojans also took home the award for music, while Iroquois was honored for top visual and general effect.

Maplewood picked up first place in Class AA with a final score of 84.95, beating Northwestern (84.43). Maplewood swept the Class AA awards for music, visual and general effect.
