SADSBURY TOWNSHIP — A children’s musical by Celeste Clydesdale, "An Out-of-the Box Christmas," is presented at 5 p.m. Sunday at High Street Community Church, 9517 Route 322, near Conneaut Lake, by King's Kids, who are children in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. They are part of the drama ministry, King’s Company Theater, supported by the church.
The story takes place at the final rehearsal for the Christmas pageant. The ordered costumes and props finally arrive the day before the pageant. As they begin to pull them out of the box, they discover that they are all wrong. The children work together and come up with unique, comical and meaningful ways to share the Christmas message of God’s love.
No admission charge is asked. All are invited. A cookie fellowship follows in the Church Fellowship Hall to congratulate the cast.
