An outreach program, "Sand in a Bottle — The Key to Getting into Heaven," will be presented during the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 890 Liberty St., Meadville.

HADLEY — Presented by The Singing Chargers, “He Has Triumphed” is at 10 a.m. Sunday at North Salem United Methodist Church, 352 Quinter Road.
SAEGERTOWN — Twelve Apostles Lutheran Church, 358 Euclid Ave., invites the public to attend any or all of its Holy Week services.
Twelve Apostles’ Palm Sunday service begins at 10:15 a.m. April 14. The service uses the form of the passion from St. Luke to order the service. Stripping of the altar takes place at the end of the liturgy.
Maundy Thursday’s service April 18 will be celebrated at Saegertown United Methodist Church, 620 Euclid Ave., and begins at 7 p.m. Good Friday’s Tenebrae service is at 8 p.m. at Twelve Apostles.
Members of the Twelve Apostles church family gather April 20 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Drakes Mills for an Easter vigil service. This service begins at 8, and congregations from churches in their Synod’s Agape Cluster invites the public to join them.
This service celebrates Christ’s resurrection, symbolically taking congregants from the darkness of the tomb to the light of the resurrection using an ancient Christian liturgy. Pastor Brian Riddle presides, and Pastor Mark Fischer will be the preacher. Pastor William Cox will be the cantor.
Twelve Apostles joins with Saegertown UMC in conducting a community-wide sunrise service “at the cross” at 6 a.m. Easter morning in the Saegertown Cemetery on Grange Center Road. At 10:15 that morning, Twelve Apostles celebrates Christ’s resurrection with Holy Communion in the sanctuary.
LINESVILLE — A Holy Thursday service is at 7 p.m. April 18 at Linesville United Methodist Church, 334 W. Erie St.
Christians observe Holy Thursday as the time when Jesus gathered the disciples for the last supper in preparation for his death on the cross. Everyone is invited to attend.
Then, follow Jesus' path on his journey to the cross from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 19, which is Good Friday, at the church.
The church offers a self-guided walk to the cross. There will be stops along the way for meditation with visual and tactile reminders of the events leading to the crucifixion.
HARMONSBURG — Harmonsburg United Methodist Church, 14182 First St., conducts a Tenebrae service at 7 p.m. April 19, which is Good Friday.
Tenebrae means darkness, and the service symbolizes the approaching darkness of Jesus’ death. Worshipers leave to ponder the impact of Christ’s death and await the coming resurrection.
The church welcomes all to come.
COCHRANTON — The Cochranton Area Ministerial Association hosts a community Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. April 21 at the Motzing Center, 157 W. Adams St.
The message will be given by Rev. John McGarvey of Christian Missionary and Alliance Church. Music will be provided by Cochranton Community Church, and the closing is by Rev. Terry Shaughnessy of Cochranton United Methodist Church.
All are welcome to attend.
There is no Easter worship service on April 21 at Cambridge Springs United Methodist Church.
The Easter service has been moved to Venango United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. An Easter sunrise service is at 6:15 a.m. at 20668 Bechtold Road, Venango Township.
