BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP — A Lake Road sobriety checkpoint resulted in four fewer drunk drivers on the roads over the weekend, according to state police at Corry.

In addition to the four DUI arrests, the checkpoint that lasted from 11 p.m. Saturday until 4 a.m. Sunday also produced two arrests for controlled substances, according to police.

Police issued 17 summary traffic citations during the checkpoint and gave out 13 written warnings.
