• Anthony K. Jakubczak, 27, of 406 Ben Avon St., Meadville, waived his preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Samuel Pendolino on Feb. 17. Jakubczak is facing two second-degree misdemeanor charges for resisting arrest and institutional vandalism, a third-degree misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct and a summary offense charge of public drunkenness for a Dec. 9, 2020, incident in which he allegedly caused $3,440.68 worth of damage to a government vehicle and resisted arrest while under the influence of a controlled substance. The alleged incident occurred on the 13000 block of Leslie Road in West Mead Township. Charges against Jakubczak were filed by West Mead Township Police Department. He is free in lieu of unsecured bail of $7,500
• Eric James Alan Seegert, 19, who is listed as homeless in court papers, was arraigned Feb. 18 before Magisterial District Judge Samuel Pendolino. Seegert is facing a felony charge of arrest prior to requisition after he was arrested by Meadville Police Department on Feb. 17 and found to have a warrant out of Ohio, as confirmed by the Ashtabula County Sheriff's Department. The charge against Seegert was filed by city police. He is being held at the Crawford County jail in lieu of $25,000 and will face extradition proceedings.
