Crawford County added eight coronavirus cases Tuesday, state officials said.
The Department of Health reported the increase in cases in its latest data release, bringing the county's total number of COVID-19 cases to 6,290 since the pandemic began nearly one year ago.
The county has had 194 cases over the past 14 days, or about 14 a day over that span.
The state's online hospital dashboard listed three COVID patients hospitalized in the county, three adult patients in an intensive care unit and one person using a ventilator. The state said nine adult ICU beds were available in the county. Those all were the same statistics it reported Monday.
In other COVID-related news:
• Regionally, since the state started tracking COVID-19, Erie County has had 17,024 cases (an increase of 53 from Monday), Mercer County 7,958 (up 23), Venango County 3,308 (up eight) and Warren County 2,140 (up five).
• Pennsylvania's Department of Health registered 2,830 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday along with 97 new deaths. Tuesday marked the fifth day in a row with less than 3,000 new cases across the commonwealth.
