The General John Burrows Historical Society in Montoursville has a large collection of artifacts pertaining to TWA Flight 800 that crashed in 1996 killing 229 people including 16 Montoursville High School students and their 5 chaperones.

Passengers in the rear section of the B-29 "Doc" had to rely on a video screen to see the view from the front of the aircraft. The screen allowed passengers to watch the plane while landing at Terre Haute Regional Airport.
