An industrial accident with the potential of multiple injuries was reported at Advanced Cast off Route 102.
Emergency radio traffic indicated that a “transfer ladle” had exploded, causing the potential injuries and starting a fire at about 3:08 p.m. today.

3:45 UPDATE: According to an employee at the scene, the ladle is used to move molten iron to a machine that fills castings. When it is in the ladel, the iron is at about 2,700 degrees F.
