A free COVID-19 vaccination clinic is taking place at Greenville High School on Saturday. Online pre-registration is required and open now at walbergfamilypharmacies.com, according to Walberg Family Pharmacies.
The clinic is for Crawford and Mercer County residents who qualify under Phase 1A of the Pennsylvania Department of Health's COVID-19 vaccination guidelines.
Phase 1A in Pennsylvania are those most at-risk of illness, including health care workers; those living in long-term care facilities; persons age 65 and older; and those age 16-64 with high-risk conditions. Medical paperwork confirming qualification for Phase 1A distribution if under the age of 65 and proof of residency is required at the time of vaccination.
This is a first-dose Pfizer clinic, not the Moderna second-dose clinic that was cancelled because of shipment delays due to extreme weather conditions in Memphis, Tennessee.
