WEST MEAD TOWNSHIP — Free COVID-19 testing in Crawford County started just after 9 this morning at the Crawford County Fairgrounds, outside of Meadville.
There were 15 vehicles lined up outside of the fairgrounds’ Gate 6 on Hamilton Road around 8:45 a.m.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health, Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and Crawford County government are coordinating the free COVID-19 testing clinic.
The free testing is from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Friday at the fairgroundsÂ
The Crawford County location is part of a 12-week program of regional drive-thru and indoor walk-in free testing clinics coordinated through the state.
AMI Expeditionary Healthcare of Reston, Va., conducts the tests under contract with the health department.
