SAEGERTOWN — Casimir C. Polach, 65, of Saegertown, died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Hamot Medical Center, Erie.

He was born Sept. 5, 1941, in Erie, a son of George and Pauline Zielinski Polach. He married Paula Schwab Jan. 22, 1977. She survives.

He retired as a polisher from Channellock Inc. after 38 years and a supervisor at Meadville I and I after 15 years.

He was social member of Saegertown Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed the outdoors, golf, his family and friends, and especially his Gold Wing trike motorcycle.

Survivors include his wife, Paula of Saegertown; a daughter, Laura Kirdahy and her husband, William, of Saegertown; two sons, Steven Polach and his wife, Sharla, of Saegertown, and Paul Polach and his friend, Jessica Wasson, of Erie; five grandchildren, Hallie Kirdahy, Ryan Kirdahy, Abigal Kirdahy, Stephanie Polach and Sadie Polach; three sisters, Theresa Racop, Dorothy Wallis and her husband, Allen, and Eleanor Soety; three brothers, Joseph Polach and his wife, Jean, Walter Polach and his wife, Joyce, and Stanley Polach and his wife, Charlotte; and two stepsisters, Helen Black and Marion Wickwire.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There are no calling hours.

Graveside services will be private at Greendale Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hatheway-Tedesco Funeral Home and Crematory, 614 Baldwin St., Meadville.
