Meadville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Jerome A. Bilinski, 62, of Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing March 10 before Magisterial District Judge William D. Chisholm on Meadville police charges of two counts of driving under the influence and one summary traffic offense for an incident Jan. 21 and was released on his own recognizance.

-Joel T. Guthrie, 24, of Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing March 16 on Meadville police charges of one count each of burglary and criminal trespass and three summary traffic offenses for an incident March 7 and was recommitted to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $5,000 bond.

-Allen Ray Sheetz, 33, of 478 Randolph St., Apartment 2, Meadville, was committed to Crawford County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail after a Tuesday arraignment on Meadville police charges for incidents taking place between March 4 and March 7 involving a 9-year-old child. Sheetz has been charged with one count of rape of a child; seven counts of indecent assault on a person less than 13 years of age; two counts each of aggravated indecent assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse; and one count each of unlawful contact with a minor, endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors. If convicted on all counts, Sheetz faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 45 years.

-Stanley Bernard Ellison, 38, has been committed to Crawford County jail in lieu of $50,000 bail following a Tuesday arraignment on Meadville police charges of indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor and corruption of minors for a January 2010 incident involving a 12-year-old child.

Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Robert A. Hale IV, 20, of Franklin, was bound over to the next term of court March 11 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on Pennsylvania State Police charges of one count each of simple assault, endangering the welfare of children and harassment for an incident Oct. 23, 2010, and was released on $25,000 unsecured bond.

-Andrew R. McClure, 21, of Atlantic, waived his right to a preliminary hearing March 15 on state police charges of two counts of driving under the influence and two summary traffic offenses for an incident Feb. 18 and was released on his own recognizance.

-Tiffany E. Sherrod, 18, of 8853 Franklin Pike, Meadville, was bound over to the next term of court following a preliminary hearing on a charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident in Vernon Township Nov. 25. She was released on her own recognizance.

Saegertown Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Kevin J. Tully, 35, of Venango, waived his right to a preliminary hearing March 14 before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln S. Zilhaver on Cambridge Springs police charges of two counts of driving under the influence and one summary traffic offense for an incident Jan. 29 and was released on his own recognizance.

-Karen M. Revak, 28, of 3013 Oakwood St., Erie, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of driving under the influence and five traffic summary counts. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident Feb. 19 in Cussewago Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Blake A. Williams, 21, of Meadville, was bound over to the next term of court following a preliminary hearing on charges of DUI, possession of a controlled substance and two traffic summary counts. Cambridge Springs police filed the charges for an incident Feb. 11. He was placed in the Crawford County jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Ashley M. Bond, 28, of Meadville, was arraigned March 14 before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood on Conneaut Lake Regional police charges of three counts of access device fraud and one count each of theft by unlawful taking, identity theft and theft of property for an incident Feb. 15 and was released on $10,000 unsecured bond. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 24.

-Allison W. Lyman, 30, of Linesville, was bound over to the next term of court March 16 on state police charges of one count each of simple assault and harassment for an incident Feb. 12 and was released on nonmonetary bond with conditions.

-Hugh D. Clark, 25, of Hartstown, waived his right to a preliminary hearing March 16 on state police charges of two counts of driving under the influence; one count each of aggravated assault and resisting arrest; and three summary traffic violations for an incident Feb. 3 and was released on $10,000 bond.

Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Brittany L. Sundol, 24, of Titusville, pleaded guilty March 1 before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols to Titusville police charges of two counts of possession of a controlled substance for an incident Oct. 1, 2010, and was ordered to serve 30 days imprisonment in Crawford County jail, Saegertown.

-Jeffery M. Dougherty, 26, of Titusville, was arraigned March 16 on Titusville police charges of three counts of driving under the influence; one count each of possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia; and four summary traffic offenses for an incident Oct. 31, 2010, and was released on $5,000 unsecured bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 25.

-Ali M. Jones, 19, of 106 Beechwood Drive, Apt. B 301, Titusville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Titusville police filed the charge for an incident Nov. 6, 2010. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Terry M. Proper, 25, of 820 Rockwood Drive, Titusville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of two counts of theft by unlawful taking and one count each of identity theft and misuse of an access device. Titusville police filed the charge for an incident Oct. 20, 2010. He was released on his own recognizance.

Crashes

State Police

-Michael L. Monroe, 27, of Spartansburg, was driving east on Route 1030 in Bloomfield Township at 11 a.m. March 12 when he lost control of his vehicle on the slush-covered road, causing it to slide off the road, strike an embankment and roll onto its side. Monroe was wearing a seatbelt and sustained minor injuries.

-David M. Kasbee, 24, of Meadville, was driving west on Hamilton Road in West Mead Township at 2:49 p.m. March 13 when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to travel off the road and into a ditch, where it continued for approximately 50 yards before rolling over onto its roof. Kasbee was wearing a seatbelt and wasn’t injured. Charges are pending.

Crimes

State Police

-Someone removed both doors from a teal green-colored 1993 Chevrolet one-ton pickup truck at a Shadeland Road, Spring Town-ship location between March 6 and 13.

-An Apple iPod was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on Springboro Road, Spring Township, between 12:01 and 1 a.m. March 18.
