Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Jennifer D. Wilson, 35, of Indiana, Pa., was bound over to the next term of court following a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols on 18 counts of forgery and one count each of receiving stolen property and identity theft. Titusville Police filed the charges for an incident April 19. She was returned to the Crawford County jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.

-Kimberly L. Lynch, 49, of PO Box 513, Hydetown, was bound over to the next term of court on charges of driving under the influence and three summary counts. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident April 27 in Hydetown. She was released on her own recognizance.

Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Shawn Michael David Nulph, 19, of 19720 State Highway 98, Conneautville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. He was released on his own recognizance. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident April 25 in Summerhill Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

-David W. Stewart, 41, of 1260 Harbor Edinburg Road, Edinburgh, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of driving under the influence and four summary counts. State police filed the charges for an incident in South Shenango Township May 8. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Frank T. Steighner, 65, of 2826 Township Road, Linesville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of DUI and a summary count. Linesville Police filed the charges for an incident June 16 in the borough. He was released on his own recognizance.

Vernon Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Gilbert E. Allen, 58, of 5480 S. Allen Road, Cochranton, was bound over to the next term of court following a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on charges of driving under the influence and three summary counts. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident in East Fairfield Township June 17. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Rebecca L. Burdick, 31, of 7701 Liberty St., Hartstown, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of retail theft, tampering with records, forged title registration and three summary counts. Vernon Township Police filed the charges for an incident in June 17. She was released on her own recognizance.

-John M. Smock, 46, of 11030 A Star Route Estates, Meadville, was bound over to the next term of court following a preliminary hearing on charges of DUI and two summary counts. State police filed the charges for an incident in Vernon Township May 7. He was released on his own recognizance.

Crashes

State Police

-There were no injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Route 322 in East Fairfield Township at 12:35 p.m. Friday. Eric J. Bennett, 32, of Townville had stopped his truck in the westbound lane of Route 322 and was struck from behind by a truck, driven by Brad A. Brown, 41, of Erie. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

Crimes

State Police

-Unknown persons removed two 12-volt batteries from outside a maintenance garage at the KOA campground on Route 27 in East Mead Township between 8 p.m. July 9 and 8:45 a.m. July 10. An older model blue Dodge Dakota truck with a cap on the back was seen in the area. Persons with information are asked to contact state police at 332-6911.
