Magisterial District Judge

-Donald J. Blackford, 24, of Meadville, was bound over to the next term of court in absentia April 11 by Magisterial District Judge Lincoln S. Zilhaver on Pennsylvania State Police at Meadville charges of one count each of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property for an incident Feb. 15.

Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Martin Joseph Clayt Lord, 27, of Mill Village, was bound over to the next term of court April 11 before Magisterial District Judge Amy L. Nicols on Pennsylvania State Police at Corry charges of one count of accident involving damage to attended vehicle/property and three summary offenses for an incident Dec. 8, 2011 and was released on his own recognizance.

n Stephanie A. Kerr, 22, of Union City, waived her right to a preliminary hearing April 11 on state police at Corry charges of one count each of recklessly endangering another person and accident involving damage to attended vehicle/property for an incident Dec. 8, 2011 and was released on her own recognizance.

Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Meredith C. Zebrowski, 22, of Pittsburgh, waived her right to a preliminary hearing April 11 before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on Pennsylvania State Police at Meadville charges of two counts of driving under the influence and two summary traffic offenses for an incident Feb. 5 and was released on her own recognizance.

n Shawn A. Esposito, 36, of Meadville, was bound over to the next term of court April 5 on Vernon Township Police Department charges of one count each of retail theft and possession of a small amount of marijuana for an incident March 12 and was released on $5,000 unsecured bond.

Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Jennifer M. Johnston, 26, of Meadville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing April 2 before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood on Conneaut Lake Regional Police Department charges of two counts of driving under the influence and one summary traffic offense for an incident March 10 and was released on her own recognizance.

-Jon J. Bone, 32, of Linesville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing April 4 on Linesville Police Department charges of one count each of simple assault, resisting arrest, harassment, disorderly conduct and recklessly endangering another person for an incident March  26 and was released on $2,500 bond.

-Lilie A. Urquhart, 41, of Linesville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing April 5 on Linesville police charges of one count each of access device fraud and identity theft for an incident Dec. 1, 2011 and was released on her own recognizance.

-Aaron M. Gray, 20, of Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing April 5 on state police charges of two counts of driving under the influence and three summary traffic offenses for an incident March 10 and was released on his own recognizance.

-Andrew N. White, 22, of Conneautville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing April 5 on Linesville police charges of one count of false reports and two summary offenses for an incident Feb. 10 and was released on his own recognizance.

-Fredrick C. Miller, 23, of Westford, waived his right to a preliminary hearing April 12 on Pennsylvania State Police at Meadville charges of one count each of burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property for an incident March 14 and was recommitted to Crawford County jail, Saegertown, in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Crashes

State Police

-Amelia B. Weaver, 19, of Saegertown, was driving east on Route 408 in Richmond Township at 1:10 p.m. March 31 when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to swerve across both lanes of travel and off the road, striking a dirt embankment and rolling over. Weaver and her passenger, Kayla M. Tomasino, 19, of Verona, were both wearing seatbelts and were transported by Townville Ambulance Service to UPMC-Hamot Medical Center in Erie for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

-Shane N. Nageotte, 20, of Meadville was driving west on Highway 285 in Fairfield Township at 7:04 p.m. April 1 when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to spin off the road and strike an embankment and two ditches, becoming airborne and rolling over. Nageotte and his passenger, William A. Hall, 36, of Conneaut Lake, were not wearing seatbelts and were both ejected from the vehicle. Nageotte sustained minor injuries and Hall sustained moderate injuries; Cochranton Volunteer Fire Department, Cochranton Area Ambulance Service and Meadville Area Ambulance Service assisted. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

-Gary Cacchione, no age listed, of Erie, was driving south on Interstate 79 in Cussewago Township at 7:06 a.m. April 11 when he lost control of his vehicle, causing it to travel off the road, spin and strike a tree. No injuries were reported. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.

-Amber L. Kelly, 21, of Meadville, was driving north on Route 98 in Cussewago Township at 7:14 a.m. April 11 when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to travel off the road, strike an embankment and roll over. Kelly was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. Hayfield Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

-Jason P. Fry, 34, of Hartstown, was driving west on Route 322 in West Fallowfield Township at 9:45 a.m. April 11 when he lost control of his vehicle after apparently falling asleep, causing the vehicle to travel off the road and strike a utility pole. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Crimes

State Police

-Someone entered a storage trailer at a Rockdale Road, Rockdale Township property and stole items including a propane wall heater; single-axle 5-foot lawn tractor discs; an antique Detroit porcelain stove; a diesel motor hot box; several electric motors and magnets; and several antique car radios sometime between Dec. 6, 2011 and March 25. The total value of the stolen items is approximately $2,800.

-Someone tipped over an unspecified number of soda vending machines at a Guys Mills’ woman’s store sometime between 8 p.m. March 21 and 9:15 a.m. April 1.

n Someone broke into two locked storage sheds at a Wilkie Road, Rockdale Township property and stole a mint-condition 1971 Cub Cadet lawn tractor, valued at $2,000, sometime between Nov. 15, 2011 and April 2. An investigation continues; anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Meadville at 332-6911.

-Someone broke into a utility shed at a Main Street, Hydetown property and stole a black-colored Tecumseh Snow Blower, valued at $1,500, sometime between 10 p.m. April 6 and 10 a.m. April 10. An investigation continues; anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Corry at (814) 663-2043.

-Someone illegally used a Conneaut Lake woman’s personal bank account information to make purchases online at 10:47 a.m. April 11.
