Magisterial District Judge

n Frances C. Huston, 53, of 503 Del Norte, Houston, Texas, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln Zilhaver and was bound over to the next term of court on a charge of driving under the influence. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charge for an incident July 25. She was released on her own recognizance.



Vernon Area

Magisterial District Judge

n Corey Seigworth, 24, of 166 N. Main St., Seneca, was bound over to the next term of court following a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi on a charge of retail theft. Vernon Township Police Department filed the charge for an incident at Wal-Mart on June 26. He was released on $15,000 unsecured bond.



Crashes

State Police

n William C. Winkler, 59, of Atlantic, wasn’t injured in a one-truck crash on Mike Wood Boulevard in Greenwood Township at 8 p.m. Sept. 19. Winkler was driving south when he lost control of his truck on the dirt road and it spun 180 degrees. Winkler wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.

n Unknown persons attempted to pry a change machine off the wall at the Northside Laundromat on Baldwin Street in West Mead Township between 10:25 p.m. Sept. 19 and 12:50 a.m. Sept 21.

n Numerous prescription medications, a laptop computer, old coins and numerous current U.S. coins were taken from a Pine Township man’s home on Hartstown Road on Sept. 20.
