The annual Veterans Day Observance, ‘Through a Veteran’s Eye: A Salute’ program was held at the Lew Davies Community Building. Out East, The 4th graders at Maplewood Elementary School put on a Veterans Day Tribute themselves inviting several local veterans, many reletives and friends of the students and their families. Audio from the event includes the class singing '"God bless the USA,' the reading a poem by Mrs. Motter's class about the term Veteran, and Taps played by Jarod Peters and Zac Eimer from the 6th grade.
