MEADVILLE — A slew of nationally known professional wrestlers will descend on Meadville on Saturday, as the Meadville Area Senior High School plays host to the Night of the Superstars 3.

The event, which has raised nearly $10,000 for Meadville Middle School the past two years, once again benefits the Meadville students.

“I think people who haven’t attended in the past should expect to see an exciting event with a night of wrestling stars,” Meadville Middle School principal Scott Lynch said.

The money raised goes toward speakers, assemblies, as well as educational field trips.

Big names and iconic wrestlers have been a part of the Night of the Superstars in the past, which is put on by the International Wrestling Cartel. And this year is no exception.

Highlighting the card is former WWE and WCW champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart. He will accompany nephew Davey Boy Smith Jr. as he takes on RJ City for the IWC Super Indy title.

Former TNA star AJ Styles will wrestle Anthony Nese for the first time ever, and former WWE and WCW tag team stars The Steiner Brothers are in action in a six-man tag team match.

“Our sponsors really do a great job with the event, and the event is successful because we have people who support it,” Lynch said. “People inside and outside of the community attend, and we also have a great group of volunteers that make it happen.”

Tickets for the event start at $20 for adult general admission and ringside reserved seats on the floor. Gold Circle Ringside seats, which include the first four rows, run at $35. Kids 12 and under get in for $15.

A meet and greet is scheduled for 4:30 p.m., with passes costing $10, and are only available to main show ticket holders. The first match is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Other matches on the card include:

- Dalton Castle vs. Matt Taven for the IWC World Heavyweight Title.

- Matt Striker vs. Bobby Fish.

- Zema Ion vs. Ilya Malkin vs. Facade in a triple threat match.

- The Sexy Talented Dudes vs. Gregory Iron, Jay Flash, Keith Haught and Bronco McBride in an eight-man tag team match.

- The Founding Fathers vs. Asylum and Rocky Reynolds.
