MEADVILLE — Crashes

State Police

-Phillip Skinndell, of Meadville, was traveling north on State Route 18 just north of Crouch Road, Conneaut Township, Erie County, at 5:30 a.m. on Sept. 2 when his vehicle left the roadway and entered a ditch on the east side of the roadway. Skinndell, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injury and was transported to Meadville Medical Center by private vehicle. Skinndell stated to police that he had fallen asleep behind the wheel.

-Alan G. Carbaugh, 56, of Titusville, was traveling south along State Route 8 near Lamey Road, Cherrytree Township, at 2:40 p.m. on Aug. 31 when he slowed to make a lefthand turn and was struck from behind by Tori J. Harrington, 24, of Titusville. Carbaugh, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from his motorcycle. The severity of his injuries are unknown. Harrington suffered minor injury.

-Sheila K. Resinger, 63, of Centerville, was traveling south on Leboeuf Road, Plum Township, at 12:50 p.m. on Sept. 1 when she a bee entered her goggles and distracted her while operating a special construction vehicle. Resinger traveled on to the right berm and struck a sign post and mailbox. The severity of her injuries are unknown.
