State Police


- Danielle Flewelling, of Ontario, Canada, was traveling south on Interstate 79 in Cussewago Township when she left the roadway due to hydroplaning and struck an embankment at 2:52 p.m. June 29, according to state police. The vehicle reportedly flipped counterclockwise and came to a rest on the driver’s side. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues. Meadville Area Ambulance, Hayfield Central Hose Company and Leonard’s Towing assisted on scene.

- Mary M. Consla-Pears, 45, of Meadville, was traveling on Pennsylvania Avenue in Vernon Township when she crashed into a ditch at 4:10 a.m. June 30, according to state police. No injuries were reported. DUI charges are pending.
