MEADVILLE — Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Shain C. Leisure, 26, of 3578 Center St., Centerville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on 11 counts of manufacture/delivery/possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver, 11 counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication device. The Attorney General’s office filed the charges for an incident on June 22, 2012 in Centerville. He was released on $50,000 unsecured bond.

-Justin J. Zimmerman, 30, of 1675 Deadmans Run, Spring Creek, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on three counts of manufacture/delivery/possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver and three counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance. The Attorney General’s office filed the charges for an incident on April 27, 2012, in Corry. He was released on $20,000 unsecured bond.

-Kevin D. McFetridge, 51, of 4531 Bentley Road, Espyville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of retail theft and two counts of defiant trespass. Vernon Township police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 14. He was released from Crawford County jail on $20,000 bond.

-Christopher P. Maynard, 39, of 4611 Hoffman Lane, Cochranton, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on charges of possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, retail theft, criminal conspiracy and intentional possession of a controlled substance. Vernon Township police filed the charges for an incident on June 20. He was released from Crawford County jail on $35,000 bond.

-William L. Jackson, age unlisted, of 10755 Cutter Road, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of DUI and two summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 18 in Greenwood Township. He was released on his own recognizance.



Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Charlene L. Allen, 68, of 8222 Roberts St., Masury, Ohio, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and two summary charges. Conneaut Lake police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 27 in Sadsbury Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Garry N. Robertson, 38, of 92 Plum St., Greenville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of DUI and two summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 6 in Sadsbury Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Eugene L. Stivanson, 51, of 11243 Suzanne Drive, Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of DUI and four summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 30 in Summit Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Henry E. Morrison, 55, of 709 Main St., Conneautville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of DUI, false identification to a law enforcement officer and seven summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 25 in Conneautville. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $7,500 bond.

-Hakeem R. Spotswood, 23, of 311 Main St., Conneautville, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on the charge of robbery. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charge for an incident on Oct. 20 in Conneautville. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $5,000 bond with conditions.

-Amy N. Kondrat, 28, of 19697 Beaver Center Road, Linesville, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on charges of manufacture/delivery/possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver, intentional possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 3 in Conneaut Township. She was placed in Crawford County jail on $50,000 bond.

-Jason F. Kondrat, 36, of 19697 Beaver Center Road, Linesville, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on charges of operating a methamphetamine lab, knowingly possessing ephedrine, possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, manufacture/delivery/possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver, intentional possession of a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 3 in Conneaut Township. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $50,000 bond.

-Michele Post, 51, of 19481 South Center Road, Conneautville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of DUI and three summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Nov. 1 in Summerhill Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Gig E. King, 34, of Harmonsburg, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on the charge of simple assault and one summary charge. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 21 in Summit Township. He was released from Crawford County jail on $10,000 bond.

-Allen S. Frost, 24. pf 17093 South Townline Road, Linesville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of burglary, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal trespass. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 22 in Springboro. He was released from Crawford County jail on $35,000 bond.

-Robert K. Straw, 32, address unlisted, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on three counts of manufacture/delivery/possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver, intentional possession of a controlled substance, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Conneaut Lake police filed the charges for an incident on Dec. 11, 2012. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $25,000 bond.

-Jazzmere N. Nelson, 24, of 12260 Route 618, Conneaut Lake, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of DUI and four summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 23 in Summit Township. She was released on her own recognizance.



Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Amber N. Ruth, 18, of Titusville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Titusville police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 25. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Hali Atkins, 18, of Pleasantville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Titusville police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 25. She was released on her own recognizance.



Crashes

State Police

-An unknown male driver impacted a vehicle driven by Brett Ward of Cochranton while traveling west on County Line Road in Fairfield Township at 2:23 p.m. Nov. 18, according to state police. The unknown driver reportedly fled the scene westbound on County Line Road. Police described his vehicle as a dark gray-colored Ford F250 extended cab pickup truck with driver-side damage and yellow paint marks. No injuries were reported. Anyone with information is asked to call state police, Meadville barracks at 332-6911.

-Melanie L. Rutter, 43, of Cambridge Springs, was traveling north on Route 6/19 in Venango when her vehicle impacted the rear of a vehicle driven by Lisa Lancaster of Venango. No injuries were reported. Venango fire department and Goodban’s Towing assisted on scene.

-David R. Stuchul, 31, of Union City, was traveling east on Chelton Hill Road in Sparta Township when he lost control of his vehicle at 6:30 a.m. Nov. 25, according to state police. His vehicle reportedly impacted a ditch. Stuchul sustained no injuries, but his passenger, Patrick Moran of Union City, suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Titusville hospital, police said. Spartansburg VFD assisted on scene.

-James B. Quigley, 27, of Beaver Falls, was traveling north on Interstate 79 in Greenwood Township when he lost control of his vehicle at 1:07 p.m. Nov. 26, according to state police. His vehicle reportedly left the roadway and struck an embankment. No injuries were reported. Pry’s Towing assisted on scene.

-Robert E. Bellin, 66, of Sandy Lake, was traveling south on Route 19 in Greenwood Township when his vehicle struck a deer that ran into the roadway at 8:48 p.m. Nov. 25, according to state police. No injuries were reported. Leonard’s Towing assisted on scene.

 

Crimes

State Police

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a burglary on Mount Pleasant Road in Washington Township between 3 and 9 p.m. Nov. 13. One or more unknown suspects reportedly cut a screen door and gain access to a residence where they took four handguns and three long guns before fleeing the scene. The investigation continues.

-Tammi M. Weier, 45, of Venango, and Kimberlee L. Miller, 55, of Venango, were accused of harassment for an alleged altercation on Price Road in Woodcock Township at 4:20 p.m. Nov. 25, according to state police.

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a burglary on Farrington Road in Spartansburg between 12:01 a.m. Oct. 1 and 12 a.m. Oct. 23. One or more unknown suspects reportedly forced entry into a camp and stole three rifles, two crossbows and four fishing poles. The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call state police, Corry barracks at (814) 663-2043.

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a case of harassment for an alleged physical altercation on Dewey Road in Athens Township at 3 p.m. Oct. 16.

-Marvin E. Jolly, 48, of Erie, was accused of giving false identification to police on Route 198 in Hayfield Township at 7:46 p.m. Nov. 24, according to state police. DUI charges pending.

-Clifford G. Hamilton, 44, address unlisted, was accused of simple assault for an alleged physical altercation on Route 27 in East Mead Township at 9:47 p.m. Nov. 25, according to state police.
