MEADVILLE — Saegertown Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Frank R. Hyden III, 34, of 24478 State St., Meadville, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood for Judge Lincoln Zilhaver and bound over to the next term of court on the charge of simple assault and one summary charge. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Aug. 31 in Blooming Valley. His bond is set at $5,000 unsecured.

Meadville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Rickey V. Bynum, 52, of 1107 Tuscaloosa St., Greensboro, N.C., was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood for Judge William Chisholm and bound over to the next term of court on the charge of harassment and two summary charges. Meadville police filed the charges for incidents on July 10 and 25. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $2,500 bond.

Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Megan A. Rightnour, 36, of 4041 Argyle Ave., Erie, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood for Judge Amy Nicols and bound over to the next term of court on charges of simple assault and resisting arrest. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Aug. 31 in Bloomfield Township. Her bond is set at $10,000 unsecured.

State Police

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a case of criminal mischief on LeBoeuf Trail Road in Troy Township between 5 p.m. Sept. 1 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 3. One or more unknown suspects reportedly struck several mailboxes and fled the scene in an unknown direction. The investigation continues.

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a case of institutional vandalism on Spring Creek Road in Oil Creek Township between 12 p.m. Sept. 1 and 6 p.m. Sept. 3. An unknown suspect reportedly drove a vehicle through the yard at Henderson Chapel at struck a wooden lighthouse, damaging both. The suspect also spun tires in the parking lot and threw rocks at the chapel, damaging the siding, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police, Corry barracks at (814) 663-2043.

Crashes

State Police

-Jeffrey L. Kaiser, 47, of Springboro, was traveling on North Beaver Road in Beaver Township when he drove his vehicle into a tree at 12:36 a.m. Sept. 5, according to state police. He reportedly left the scene without notifying the property owners. No injuries were reported. Driving under the influence charges are pending.
