MEADVILLE — Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Ralph E. Steele III, 30, of 195 S. Third St., Conneaut Lake, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and bound over to the next term of court on three counts of acquiring or obtaining possession of a controlled substance by misrepresentation. The Attorney General’s office filed the charges for incidents on Jan. 30, 2012, March 6, 2012 and May 18, 2012, in Conneaut Lake. His bond is set at $25,000 unsecured.

-Matthew J. Cramer, 32, of 112 Jefferson St., Oil City, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of driving under the influence and three summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on April 13 in South Shenango Township. He was released on his own recognizance.



Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Theodore E. Terwilliger, 22, of Carlton, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of criminal conspiracy. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charge for an incident on March 10 in Centerville. He was released on $10,000 bond.

-Andrew A. Vettenburg, 23, of Spartansburg, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of criminal conspiracy. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on March 16 in Centerville. He was released on $30,000 bond.

-Christina M. Shields, 28, of Titusville, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and resisting arrest. Titusville police filed the charges for an incident on March 8. Her bond is set at $2,500 unsecured.

-Jarvis D. Morgan, 19, of Chicago, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of distributing a small amount of marijuana and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. University of Pittsburgh at Titusville police filed the charges for an incident on Feb. 2 in Titusville. His bond is set at $5,000 unsecured.



Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Daniel B. Winger Jr., 34, of 162 N. Franklin St., Cochranton, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of simple assault and one summary charge. Cochranton police filed the charges for an incident on April 11. He was released on nonmonetary bail.

-Darrell W. Wisniewski, 24, of 25156 Sugar Creek Lane, Cochranton, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of terroristic threats, endangering the welfare of children, simple assault, disorderly conduct and one summary charge. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on April 13 in Wayne Township. He was released on $10,000 bond.

-Laura S. Bush, 25, of 9692 Kennedy Hill Road, Meadville, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Nov. 15, 2012, in Conneautville. Her bond is set at $5,000 unsecured.



Crashes

State Police

-Adam P. Andrzejczak, of Conneautville, was traveling south on Route 98 in Hayfield Township when he moved to the right shoulder to avoid an approaching northbound vehicle that crossed into the southbound lane at 9:43 a.m. May 9, according to state police. He reportedly lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway, striking an embankment, causing the vehicle to roll onto its left side. He suffered minor injuries, police said. Hayfield Central Hose Company No. 1 assisted on scene.

-Clair L. Koehler, 85, of Meadville, was traveling north on Route 98 in Vernon Township when he struck driver Kailyn Lam of Cranberry as she negotiated a right hand turn at 2:22 p.m. May 7, according to state police. Both vehicles reportedly came to rest on the east side of the roadway. Lam’s vehicle sustained heavy damage to the passenger side, police said. No injuries were reported.

-Douglas M. Himes, 21, of Espyville, was traveling east on Route 6 in Pine Township when he struck driver Phyllis Pacek of Linesville as she was preparing to turn left at 9:01 p.m. May 7, according to state police. No injuries were reported.



Crimes

State Police

-A Conneautville man reported a theft on Route 198 in Summerhill Township between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. May 9, according to state police. One or more unknown suspects reportedly stole assorted shrubbery before fleeing in an unknown direction.

-A 44-year-old Centerville man reported a theft on Leboeuf Trail Road in Troy Township between 6 p.m. May 8 and 1 p.m. May 9, according to state police. An unknown suspect reportedly removed a 50-inch mower deck from his yard. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police Corry barracks at (814) 663-2043.

-A 17-year-old female was accused of simple assault for an alleged physical altercation at Hermitage House, Route 99 in Venango Township at 7:12 a.m. May 9, according to state police.
