Magisterial District Judge

-Austin K. Andrews, 18, address unlisted, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm and bound over to the next term of court on charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, two counts of aggravated indecent assault, two counts of statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors and five counts of indecent assault. Meadville police filed the charges for incidents on Aug. 19 and Sept. 19. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $100,000 bond.


State Police

-An unknown driver left the roadway while traveling north on Route 86 in Woodcock Township at approximately 1:11 a.m. Oct. 25, according to state police. The driver’s vehicle reportedly impacted a ditch and traveled up an embankment, striking a fence. The vehicle then flipped several times, coming to rest on its side, police said. The driver reportedly fled the scene. The investigation continues. Saegertown VFD and Hayden’s Towing assisted on scene.


State Police

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a theft from a motor vehicle on East Canal Drive in Summit Township between 9 p.m. Oct. 20 and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 21. One or more unknown suspects reportedly entered a vehicle and removed a 9mm Ruger semiautomatic handgun and a duffle bag containing clothing and dance shoes. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said. The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call state police, Meadville barracks at 332-6911.
