MEADVILLE — Crimes

State Police

-Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a burglary on Atlantic Road in East Fallowfield Township on Nov. 10 between 1 and 8:30 p.m. Someone entered the residence and removed a PlayStation 3, approximately 50 PlayStation 3 games, a Sylvania dual-screen DVD player and tools. Anyone with information regarding the investigation is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police at 332-6911.

-Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a burglary on Reed Avenue in Summit Township between Oct. 15 and Nov. 10. Someone smashed a glass window and gained entry into the residence and it is unknown if any items were taken at this point. An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the investigation is asked to contact police at 332-6911.

-Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a burglary on Route 8 North in Oil Creek Township between May 1 and Nov. 6. A known female removed several items valued at $700 from the victim’s residence at different times over the course of the six-month period. An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the investigation is asked to contact police at 332-6911.



Crashes

State Police

-Floyd W. Peters, 27, of Meadville, was traveling north on South Wayland Road just north of Hunter Road in East Mead Township when for an unknown reason, his truck went off the left side of the road, struck a ditch and came to a rest after striking a culvert facing north in the west ditch on Nov. 8 at 1:59 a.m. Police said that Peters fled the scene prior to the arrival of police and was issued several traffic citations for summary offenses. Peters was not wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.
