MEADVILLE — Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Steven R. Henderson, 32, of 10758 Perry High-way, Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of disorderly conduct, false reports and one summary charge. Vernon Township police filed the charges for an incident on March 30. He was released on his own recognizance.

Crashes

State Police

-Jacob R. Auerbach, 23, of Sandy Lake, was traveling east on Route 285 in East Fairfield Township when he became distracted and left the roadway at 7:47 a.m. April 30, according to state police. He reportedly struck a utility pole. No injuries were reported.

-Steven Ishman, age not listed, of Saegertown, was accused of harassment for an alleged physical altercation involving a woman on North Mead Road in Hayfield Township at 9:30 p.m. April 29, according to state police.

-Sparta Sportsman Club, Inc. reported a case of criminal mischief along a nearby bike trail in Sparta Township between 10 a.m. April 28 and 10 a.m. April 29, according to state police. One or more unknown suspects reportedly damaged several signs warning people of the nearby rifle range. Anyone with information is asked to call Corry State Police at (814) 663-2043.

-A 20-year-old Townville man reported a theft from his motor vehicle on Route 408 in Steuben Township at an unknown time between April 25 and 26, according to state police. One or more unknown suspects reportedly stole the registration plate from his 2004 Dodge Ram pick-up truck. Anyone with information is asked to call (814) 663-2043.

-A Saegertown woman reported an unlawful entry at a residence on Porter Road in Summit Township between 12 a.m. April 27 and 1 p.m. April 28. One or more unknown suspects reportedly entered the residence through a bathroom window and accessed the attic before departing the scene. An ornament attached to the downspout was damaged.
