CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS — Crimes

State police

-A South Lake Road, North Shenango Township resident returned to her residence on May 10 at 1:39 p.m. to discover it had been burglarized and that items were stolen from inside. An invesitation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Meadville at 332-6911.

-Someone entered a Gehrton Road, Summitt Township residence sometime between 9 p.m. on May 7 and 4:30 p.m. on May 9 through a sliding glass door, rummaged through the residence and removed various tools. A Murray push mower was also removed from the location. An investigation continues.

-Someone entered a building on Fink Road, Rome Township sometime between May 3 and May 9 and removed a total of $1,875. Anyone with information is asked to call state police in Corry at 1-800-922-1975.

Crashes

State police

-David H. Hallberg, 74, of Spartansburg was traveling east on State Route 77 in Spartansburg at 9:30 a.m. on May 8 when he reportedly fell asleep, left the roadway and struck two parked units before coming to rest. Hallberg was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

-Jacob D. Peters, 26, of Meadville was traveling west on State Route 322 in South Shenango Township, slowed to make a left turn onto Ralston Road and was hit from behind by a car being driven by Katelyn E. Ross, 20, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Peters and Ross were both wearing seat belts and were not injured.

-Sequoia M. Pangborn, 18, of Cambridge Springs was attempting to cross State Route 6 and 19 at 10:45 a.m. on May 11 when her vehicle was struck by a car being driven by Donna L. Howles, 46, of Saegertown. Both vehicles were disabled from the crash. Pangborn, Howles and a 7-year-old passenger in Howles’ vehicle did not sustain injuries.
