MEADVILLE — Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-John T. Sorsby, 36, of Erie, was bound over to the next term of court following a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood on a charge of receiving stolen property. Linesville Police Department filed the charge for an incident Dec. 1, 2013. He was released on $2,500 unsecured bond.

-William Swan of 14978 S. Norrisville Road, Meadville, was bound over to the next term of court following a preliminary hearing on a charge of not confining or controlling a dog. Pennsylvania Office of Dog Law Enforcement filed the charge for an incident March 3 in Summit Township. The charge against Swan was ordered held for court though Swan didn’t appear at the hearing, according to court records.

Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Lindsey M. Ackerman, 20, of 420 Chestnut St., Titusville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols on 15 counts of receiving stolen property and one count of possession of a small amount of marijuana. Titusville Police Department filed the charges for an incident Jan. 17. She was released on $30,000 unsecured bond.

-Dennis L. Carr, 42, of Union City, waived his right to a preliminary hearing on charges of driving under the influence and three summary counts. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident Feb. 24 in Bloomfield Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

Meadville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Teresa E. Holler, 25, of 64 Maple Drive, Greenville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm and was bound over to the next term of court on a charge of receiving stolen property. Meadville Police Department filed the charge for an incident Sept. 3, 2013. She was released on $10,000 bond.

Crashes

State Police

-There were no injuries in a pickup truck crash on Alden Street Extension near Pettis Road in East Mead Townshp at 2:37 p.m. Saturday. Kasey Ambrose Keltz, 22, no address given, was driving on the road when the truck went off the road, through a ditch and subsequently hit a culvert.
