MEADVILLE — Crime

State Police

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a theft on Brenner Road in Titusville at 8:25 p.m. Feb. 8. One or more unknown suspects reportedly removed a table drill press, miscellaneous hand tools and chains from a property.

-Amanda L. Pugliese, 27, address unlisted, was accused of writing a bad check for an alleged incident on Route 322 in Cranberry Township between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Dec. 7, according to state police.

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a theft by unlawful taking on Thompson Run Road in Hydetown between noon and 7 p.m. Jan. 26. A resident reported jewelry missing from a home, police said.

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a burglary on Maple Grove Road in Bloomfield Township between 12:01 a.m. Jan. 13 and midnight Feb. 4. One or more unknown suspects reportedly entered a residence and stole a set of kitchen knives and a Craftsman circular saw before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. Anyone with information is asked to call state police, Corry barracks at (814) 663-2043.

-Pennsylvania State Police reported disorderly conduct on Route 86 in Woodcock Township at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 4. A male Meadville juvenile reportedly brought a handgun replica to Bethesda School.



Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Jeffrey A. Thomas, 51, of 16837 Carr Hill Road, Meadville, was held for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and three summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Dec. 8 in West Fallowfield Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Mitchell F. Malone, 44, of 152 South Main St., Springboro, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of possible sale/use/display of documents and five summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Jan. 15 in Springboro. He was released from Crawford County jail on $5,000 unsecured bond.

-Brooke A. Yacobozzi, 41, of 3667 Gardner Drive, Erie, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of criminal attempt and criminal use of a communication device. The attorney general’s office filed the charges for an incident on Jan. 21 in Conneaut Lake. She was placed in Crawford County jail on $50,000 bond.

-Raymond J. Ebbert, 23, of 14844 Airport Road, Linesville, was arraigned and bound over to the next term of court on charges of manufacture/delivery/possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver, criminal use of a communication device and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 7 in Conneaut Township. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $10,000 bond.

-Aneasha T. Pace, 37, of 7267 Collins Road, Jamestown, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on three counts of driving under the influence and one summary charge. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Nov. 26 in South Shenango Township. She was released on her own recognizance.



Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Melissa L. Shaw, 35, of 7203 Main St., Conneaut Lake, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of theft by unlawful taking. Vernon Township police filed the charge for an incident on Dec. 1. She was released on $5,000 unsecured bond.

-Karl R. Smith, 32, of 17000 Berkshire Drive, Meadville, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on two counts of endangering the welfare of children, simple assault and one summary charge. Vernon Township police filed the charges for an incident on Dec. 22. He was released from Crawford County jail on $1,000 bond.

-Kimberly J. Flick, 43, of 14187 Brown Hill Road, Meadville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and one summary charge. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Jan. 1 in Vernon Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Justin P. Calvin, 25, address unlisted, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and access device fraud. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Nov. 7 in Greenwood Township. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $20,000 bond. Calvin also waived his right to a preliminary hearing on the charge of criminal trespass. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charge for an incident on Jan. 19.



Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Ryan T. Ward, 27, of Erie, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and two summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Nov. 30 in Sparta Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Shawn M. Chase, 37, of Titusville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of possession of firearm by minor and corruption of minors. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Aug. 27 in Troy Township. He was released on $5,000 unsecured bond.

-Leonard J. Burk, 70, of Cochranton, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Jan. 10 in Troy Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Andrea L. Hansen, 39, of Corry, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and six summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Dec. 26 in Bloomfield Township. He was released on his own recognizance.
