Magisterial District Judge

-Joseph D. Shaw Jr., 21, of 6537 Route 6, Linesville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of burglary, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on May 15 in Conneautville. He was released from Crawford County jail on $2,500 bond.

-Ritchie P. Hoogstad, 60, of 8 Pear Tree Lane, Linesville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of simple assault and two summary charges. Linesville police filed the charges for an incident on May 31. His bond is set at $5,000 unsecured.

Magisterial District Judge

-Michael A. Washington Jr., 20, of Lancaster, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln Zilhaver and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of escape. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charge for an incident on July 9, 2012, in East Mead Township. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $25,000 bond.

-Jared M. Slaughter, 26, of Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of burglary, theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespass and criminal mischief. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on May 21 in Woodcock Township. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $5,000 bond.

-Jason L. Blaede, 33, of Cambridge Springs, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on charges of obstructing administration of the law, resisting arrest and one summary charge. Cambridge Springs police filed the charges for an incident on May 29. He was released on his own recognizance.
