MEADVILLE — Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Thomas J. Luciano, 40, of 18583 Marshall Road, Cochranton, was held for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and bound over to the next term of court on charges of use/possession of drug paraphernalia, simple assault and one summary charge. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Jan. 20 in Greenwood Township. He was released on $5,000 unsecured bond.

-Nicholas A. Cole, 22, of 1089 S. Morgan St., Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and four summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Jan. 25 in Vernon Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Jeffrey A. Thomas, 51, of 930 New Castle Road, Butler, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft from a motor vehicle, defiant trespass and one summary charge. Vernon Township police filed the charges for an incident on Feb. 5. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $20,000 bond.

-George C. Glancy, 31, of 10699 Park Ave., Conneaut Lake, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of diversion of services. Vernon Township police filed the charge for an incident on Dec. 30. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Keith C. Lybarger, 18, of 19043 North Mead Road, Saegertown, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of retail theft. Vernon Township police filed the charges for an incident on Feb. 5. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $15,000 bond.



Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Nicole R. Mendez, age unlisted, of Titusville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of retail theft and one summary charge. Titusville police filed the charges for an incident on Jan. 12. She wsa released on her own recognizance.

-Ryan S. Wolfkiel, 38, of Titusville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and three summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 19 in Bloomfield Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

-James E. Fielding Sr., 49, of Erie, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on six counts of forgery, two counts of deceptive business practice and eight counts of theft by deception. The Attorney General’s office filed the charges for an incident on May 1, 2011, in Titusville. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $50,000 bond.

-Courtney R. Cherry, 26, of Grand Valley, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of driving under the influence and six summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Dec. 29 in Sparta Township. She was released on her own recognizance.



Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Jessica L. Malone, 24, of 104 Cussewago St., Springboro, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of indecent exposure, open lewdness, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and two summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Jan. 28 in Spring Township. She was placed in Crawford County jail on $1,000 bond.



Crashes

State Police

-Brandon J. Harger, 33, of Centerville, was traveling north on North Norrisville Road in Summerhill Township when he failed to turn safely and crossed into the path of driver Travis Foster of Conneautville at 11:57 a.m. March 3, according to state police. Foster was reportedly unable to stop and collided head on with Harger’s vehicle. Foster and his passenger, Shashaya White of Springboro, sustained minor injuries, police said. Borderline Towing and Shambaugh Towing assisted on scene.
