MEADVILLE — Meadville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Adam J. Hall, 20, of 478 Randolph Street, Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and one summary charge. Meadville police filed the charges for an incident on March 28. He was released from Crawford County jail on $15,000 bond.

-Jeramie J. Ebbert, 26, of 14844 Airport Road, Linesville, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm and bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft by deception, conspiracy and receiving stolen property. Meadville police filed the charges for an incident on March 10. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $5,000 bond.



Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Shalla D. Auen, 34, of 216 Bunday Street, Linesville, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and three summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on March 6 in Sadsbury Township. She was released on her own recognizance.



Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Scott C. Knetsch, 43, of Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of unsworn falsification to authorities and false written statement. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Aug. 12, 2011, in Townville. He was released on his own recognizance.



Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Stosh D. Coulter, 36, of 9189 Atlantic Road, Atlantic, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of retail theft. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on March 18 in Vernon Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Joseph N. Bull, 27, of 6721⁄2 Arch Street, Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on the charge of retail theft. Vernon Township police filed the charge for an incident on March 1. He was released on his own recognizance.

n Carl Gibson, 51, of 3975 Hall Road, Cochranton, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of indecent exposure, loitering and prowling at night time and open lewdness. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on April 2, 2012, in Fairfield Township. His bond is set at $5,000 unsecured.



Crashes

State Police

-Alicia R. Hoover, age and address withheld, was traveling west on Route 77 in West Mead Township when she left the roadway next to Walker Street at 12:05 a.m. April 24, according to state police. She reportedly entered a ditch and traveled approximately 100 feet before striking a culvert and telephone pole. She suffered minor injuries, police said.



Crimes

State Police

-Shawn M. Leonhart, 33, address withheld, was accused of harassment for an alleged physical altercation with a 21-year-old woman on Lyona Road in Richmond Township at 2:10 a.m. April 24, according to state police.

-A 73-year-old Union City woman reported a theft from her motor vehicle on Payne Road in Bloomfield Township between 6 p.m. April 18 and 10:30 a.m. April 19, according to state police. One or more unknown suspects reportedly stole a brown and black purse containing $2 and bank and identification cards, valued at approximately $22, from her unsecured vehicle before fleeing the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police, Corry barracks at (814) 663-2043.

n Someone stole items from an unsecured vehicle parked at a Route 6 and 19 location in Woodcock Township sometime between 6:30 p.m. on April 21 and noon on April 22.

-A 32-year-old Jamestown woman reported a burglary at a residence on Colonial Lane in South Shenango Township between 12 and 4 p.m. April 24, according to state police. One or more unknown suspects reportedly entered the residence and stole and Xbox and Xbox games. The investigation continues. -Floyd J. Benninger, 38, of Cochranton, was accused of domestic assault for an alleged physical altercation with his wife at a residence on Route 285 in Fairfield Township between noon and 12:40 p.m. April 25, according to state police. He reportedly tackled and pushed his wife, refusing to let her leave the residence. She exited the home through a window, police said. Benninger then chased her with a motor vehicle. He was arrested and placed in Crawford County jail on $20,000 bond.

-A 65-year-old Linesville man reported a burglary on Footsville Road in Conneaut Township between 12:01 a.m. Feb. 15 and 12 a.m. April 26, according to state police. One or more unknown suspects reportedly broke into a building and stole a Dell laptop computer. The investigation continues.
