MEADVILLE — Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Samantha J. Arnett, 21, of 171 Glenwood Ave., Meadville, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and bound over to the next term of court on charges of manufacture/delivery/possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver, possession of marijuana, intentional possession of a controlled substance, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, four counts of driving under the influence and five summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on July 5 in Summit Township. Her bond is set at $10,000 unsecured.

-Zachery B. Whiteside, 21, of 7124 Route 6, Linesville, was arraigned and bound over to the next term of court on charges of manufacture/delivery/possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver, possession of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and intentional possession of a controlled substance. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on July 5 in Summit Township. His bond is set at $10,000 unsecured.

Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Megan A. Rightnour, 36, of Erie, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of simple assault, resisting arrest, defiant trespass and disorderly conduct. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Aug. 31 in Bloomfield Township. Her bond is set at $10,000 unsecured.

Linesville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Luanne M. McGrath, 20, of 603 Erskine-Quarry Road, Edinburg, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Aug. 1 in Linesville. She was released from Crawford County jail on $5,000 bond.

Crashes

State Police

-Bernard A. Brill, 70, of Hamburg, N.Y., was traveling south on Interstate 79 in Cussewago Township when his vehicle struck a deer which entered the roadway at 2:19 p.m. Oct. 27, according to state police. No injuries were reported. Goodban’s Towing assisted on scene.

-Valerie J. McClellan, 41, of Oil City, was traveling south on Route 8 in Bloomfield Township when her vehicle struck a deer which entered the roadway at 10:10 p.m. Oct. 25, according to state police. No injuries were reported. Venango Towing assisted on scene.

-Cathy J. Hood, 60, of Meadville, was traveling west on Route 322 in East Fairfield Township when she lost control of her vehicle at 10:54 a.m. Nov. 1, according to state police. The vehicle reportedly left the roadway and struck an embankment before overturning and coming to rest. No injuries were reported. Leonard’s Towing assisted on scene.

-An unknown driver backed into the rear of a parked vehicle in a parking lot on South Wayland Road in East Mead Township at 11:23 p.m. Oct. 31, according to state police. The driver reportedly fled the scene in an unknown direction.

-Rodney A. Johnson, age unlisted, of Meadville, was traveling south on Mercer Pike in Union Township when he lost control of his vehicle on the wet roadway at 11 a.m. Oct. 31, according to state police. The vehicle reportedly left the roadway and hit an embankment and a tree. No injuries were reported. An investigation is pending. Hayden’s towing assisted on scene.

-Joel P. Robinson, 18, of Guys Mills, was traveling east on Route 27 in West Mead Township when his vehicle struck a deer that entered the road at 11:18 p.m. Oct. 28, according to state police. No injuries were reported. Leonard’s Towing assisted on scene.
