Magisterial District Judge

-Jason L. Goodwill, 27, of 7741⁄2 Steward St., Meadville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and two summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 20 in Meadville. His bond is set at $5,000 unsecured.



Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Joshua R. Snow, 31, of 8840 McMichael Road, Conneaut Lake, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of manufacture⁄delivery⁄possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture⁄deliver, intentional possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication device and criminal conspiracy. The Attorney General’s office filed the charges for an incident on Feb. 28 in Greenwood Township. His bond is set at $20,000 unsecured.

-Michael D. Kavchak, 48, of 1490 Greenmount Ave., Pittsburgh, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence. Vernon Township police filed the charges for an incident on Feb. 22. His bond is set at $10,000 unsecured.



Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Loretta K. Carr, 33, of Union City, waived her right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of corruption of minors and selling⁄furnishing alcohol to a minor. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Aug. 24 in Athens Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Ariel L. Lindstrom, 21, of Corry, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on the charge of defiant trespass. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charge for an incident on Aug. 25 in Athens Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Peggy M. McCormick, 39, of Corry, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on the charge of criminal trespass. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charge for an incident on Aug. 25 in Athens Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Kimberly A. Proper, 28, of Brockway, was held for a preliminary hearing and bound over to the next term of court on charges of simple assault, defiant trespass and one summary charge. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Aug. 25 in Athens Township. She was released on her own recognizance.

-Raymond E. Wright, 20, Spartansburg, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of theft by deception, forgery and receiving stolen property. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 3 in Sparta Township. He was placed in Crawford County jail on $5,000 bond.



Crimes

State Police

-Pennsylvania State Police reported a theft on Recks Road in Rome Township between 9:15 and 9:28 p.m. Oct. 14. One or more unknown suspects reportedly entered a scrap yard and stole several items, including a stainless steel sink, two 55 gallon steel drums, a steel fan motor and a steel chair, valued at approximately $100 total. The investigation continues.

-A 14-year-old female from Jamestown, N.Y., was accused of retail theft for an incident on Hydetown Road in Oil Creek Township at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 13, according to state police. The juvenile reportedly placed approximately 30 CO2 cartridges and a plastic container of paint balls into her purse, valued at approximately $38.07, and exited the store.

-Police reported a case of criminal mischief on Linesville Road in Conneaut Township between 10 p.m. Oct. 13 and 1 p.m. Oct. 14. One or more unknown suspects reportedly damaged an empty locked money drawer at a honey bee business and fled in an unknown direction.

-Police reported a theft on Steamburg Road in Conneaut Township between 2 p.m. Sept. 1 and 11:45 a.m. Oct. 15. One or more unknown suspects reportedly removed numerous tools from a property.

-Police reported a burglary on Jericho Road in Pine Township at 6 a.m. Oct. 13. An unknown suspect reportedly broke into a basement.

-Pennsylvania State Police reported an indecent exposure on Grant Street in Saegertown at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 13. An unknown suspect, possibly a white male, reportedly exposed his genital area to a female before fleeing north on Grant Street.

-Police reported a burglary on Route 77 in East Mead Township at unknown times between August and Oct. 13. One or more unknown suspects reportedly entered a residence and stole multiple items. The investigation continues. Anyone with information is asked to call state police, Meadville barracks at 332-6911.

n Police reported a theft by unlawful taking on Center Street in Summit Township between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Oct. 12. An unknown suspect reportedly took prescription medication from a purse inside the Blue Streak Kitchen at Conneaut Lake Park.
