State Police

-An unknown female is being investigated after she requested entry into a residence in East Fallowfield Township. While inside, the woman asked to use the restroom, at which time prescription medication was removed. After distracting the victim again, items were removed from the victim’s purse. The woman is described as being in her late 30s to early 40s, 5-foot-6, medium build, wearing a dark gray hooded jacket pulled over her head and black pants, and driving a red colored mid-size automobile. Anyone with information is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police at the Meadville barracks at 332-6911.

-An unknown person damaged a mailbox sometime between Jan. 25 and 26 on Harmonsburg Road, Summit Township, according to state police. No further details were released.

-Two Atlantic residents reported a burglary on Maple Lane in East Fallowfield Township between 12:30 and 4:05 a.m. Jan. 25, according to state police. Two unknown suspects allegedly entered the victims’ shared residence and removed a purse, wallet, medications and global positioning system unit. No further details were released.

-A Meadville woman reported a burglary in West Mead Township between 3 and 8 p.m. Jan. 27, according to state police. One or more unknown suspects allegedly entered a Woodland Heights apartment through an unlocked door and took a broken iPod touch and $2 in cash. No further details were released.

-Timothy D. Hostetler, 18, of Clymer, N.Y., was accused of underage drinking while walking along Route 77 in Sparta Township at 1:25 a.m. Jan. 28, according to state police. Charges are pending with Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols.

-A 46-year-old Saegertown resident reported the theft of his prescription medication from a property on Greer Road in Hayfield Township between Jan. 21 and 25, according to state police. No further details were released.
