MEADVILLE — Crashes

State Police

-Kathryn R. Hunkele, 22, of Allison Park was traveling south on Route 1007 in Athens Township on Jan. 26 at 9 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle on a partially snow-covered roadway while negotiating a left curve. Her vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck and embankment on the east side, according to state police. Hunkele endured a minor injury. She was wearing her seat belt.

-Jeremy Clifford Collicutt, 29, of Meadville was driving south on Park Avenue Extension, north of Gasteiger Road in West Mead Township on Jan. 25 at 10:19 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle on the snow-covered roadways, according to state police. Collicutt’s vehicle exited his lane, moved into the northern lane of travel, exited the eastern portion of the roadway, and struck a traffic sign and mailbox before overturning. The vehicle came to final rest facing east on the passenger’s side. Charges are pending.

-Kelly M. Kraeling, 32, of Meadville was driving north on Route 86 in Woodcock Township on Jan. 25 at 9:05 p.m. when she lost control of her vehicle on a partially snow-covered roadway while negotiating a left curve. Her vehicle traveled across the southbound lane, onto the west berm, and back across the roadway before striking a ditch and a utility pole on the east side. No injuries were reported. Kraeling was wearing her seat belt.

-Jeffrey T. Tucci, 52, of Venango was driving 30 mph on Pennsylvania Avenue, Vernon Township, on Jan. 25 at 3:20 p.m. when he failed to brake in time before colliding with the rear end of a vehicle driven by Donald E. Davis, 56, of Meadville, who was stopped on Pennsylvania Avenue and waiting to make a left-hand turn onto Cussewago Road, according to state police. No injuries occurred and both were using seat belts. Tucci’s vehicle was towed from the scene.

-Megan R. Jamison, no age listed, of Stoneboro was driving south on Interstate 79 on Jan. 25 at a speed that was too fast for conditions before she lost control of her vehicle, left the roadway and struck a small tree, according to state police. No injuries were reported.

-A 17-year-old driver was traveling west on Five Corners Road in Steuben Township when he lost control of his vehicle, which rotated counter-clockwise and slid sideways off the south berm, striking a ditch at 10:11 a.m. Jan. 26, according to state police. The vehicle reportedly rolled onto its passenger side. No injuries were reported.
