State Police

-Austin S. Coulter, 19, of Conneaut Lake, was traveling south on Hollis Road in Vernon Township when he lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway at the intersection of Hollis and Carr Hill Roads at 4:29 p.m. March 9, according to state police. He reportedly traveled through a field, striking a utility pole and shearing it in half. His vehicle then rolled several times before coming to a rest, police said. Coulter reportedly sustained no injuries while his three juvenile passengers suffered injuries of an unknown severity. Two were transported to Meadville Medical Center for treatment, according to police. DUI charges pending. Vernon Township VFD and Conneaut Lake Ambulance assisted on scene.


State Police

-Keesha Allen, 35, of Franklin, and David Allen, 52, of Spartansburg, were accused of harassment for allegedly inflicting minor injuries on one another on Fish Flats Road in Rome Township at 1 p.m. March 8, according to state police. Both were cited through Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols’ court.

-A 38-year-old Meadville woman reported a motor vehicle theft between 11:30 a.m. March 8 and 5:30 a.m. March 9, according to state police. An unknown suspect reportedly stole her 2003 GMC Envoy from her driveway in Vernon Township. Police described the vehicle as dark charcoal grey bearing Pennsylvania registration. The doors were reportedly unlocked and a spare key was kept inside the vehicle. The incident is under investigation.

-Luis Perez, 47, of Meadville, was accused of bigamy for allegedly marrying two undisclosed females in separate states and providing false information on his marriage application between March 18, 2002 and May 21, 2005, according to state police. He was reportedly charged with bigamy, false swearing and unsworn falsification to authorities. A criminal complaint was filed at Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm’s court.
