Magisterial District Judge

-Michael T. Wilson, 45, of Harmonsburg, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Rita Marwood and was bound over to the next term of court on three counts of driving under the influence and four summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident in Summerhill Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

Titusville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Martin A. Mitchell Jr., 29, of Erie, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Amy Nicols and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, nine counts of theft by unlawful taking, three counts of criminal conspiracy and five summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Jan. 2 in South Shenango Township. He was placed in Crawford County Prison on $50,000 bond.

-Richard W. Akers Jr., 21, of Erie, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, eight counts of theft by unlawful taking, three counts of criminal conspiracy and four summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Jan. 2 in South Shenango Township. He was placed in Crawford County Prison on $50,000 bond.

State Police

-Pennsylvania State Police reported an attempted burglary on Espy Road in South Shenango Township between 10 and 10:15 a.m. March 8. One or more unknown actors allegedly tried to break into a residence through a rear window. A juvenile resident who was home at the time scared off the intruder by making noise but was unable to identify the suspect, who fled the scene, police said.
