MEADVILLE — Vernon Township Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Nicholas Ellison, 18, of 4303 East South Shore Drive, Erie, was held for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Michael Rossi and was bound over to the next term of court on charges of use/possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Vernon Township police filed the charges for an incident on Sept. 7. His bail is set at $5,000 unsecured.

Meadville Area

Magisterial District Judge

-Ryan William Hollabaugh, 26, of 843 Liberty St., Meadville, was committed to Crawford County jail in lieu of $10,000 bail Monday following arraignment before Magisterial District Judge William Chisholm on Meadville Police Department charges of two counts each of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment following a Sunday incident. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Dec. 11.

Magisterial District Judge

-Chris J. Fitzpatrick, 47, of Cambridge Springs, was held for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Lincoln Zilhaver and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and five summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 13 in Woodcock Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

-Todd M. Dennis, 51, of Townville, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to the next term of court on two counts of driving under the influence and three summary charges. Pennsylvania State Police filed the charges for an incident on Oct. 28 in Randolph Township. He was released on his own recognizance.

Crashes

State Police

-Stephanie L. Hamill, 30, of Meadville, was traveling north on Route 19 at its intersection with Route 6 in Woodcock Township when she lost control of her vehicle and left the roadway, striking a mailbox and impacting a tree at 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 4, according to state police. She was reportedly taken to Meadville Medical Center for minor injuries. Her 2002 Pontiac Montana sustained major front end damage, police said, and was towed from the scene by West End Towing.

-Nickolas R. Deeter, 18, of Titusville, was traveling north on Route 408 approximately 500 feet west of Strawbridge Road in Troy Township when he struck the vehicle in front of him at 6:05 p.m. Dec. 3, according to state police. Driver Adrianne C. Burrows, 24, of Titusville, was reportedly traveling north ahead of Deeter when she stopped to avoid striking a deer in the roadway prior to impact. Neither driver suffered injuries, nor did passenger Mickey Burrows, police said.

-Heidi J. Herman-Basinger, 39, of Meadville, was traveling north on State Route 2031 at its intersection with Finney Road in Oil Creek Township when she traveled onto the berm as a result of foggy conditions before steering back onto the roadway and losing control of her vehicle at 5:30 a.m. Dec. 3, according to state police. Her 2008 Volkswagen Jetta reportedly rotated counter-clockwise before impacting a ditch and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation sign before coming to a rest on the north side of Finney Road.

-Cheryl Beach of Titusville was traveling south on Hydetown Road in Oil Creek Township when she swerved off of the roadway for unknown reasons and her vehicle struck a utility pole Dec. 5 at 1:50 p.m., according to state police. She was reportedly airlifted to UPMC Hamot. No information regarding her injuries or current condition was released. The investigation is ongoing.
